Since the little one arrived, I have been spending a whole lot of extra time in the bedroom, nursing, napping, recovering… and thought it was about time I give a proper tour of the space. I made a couple changes since the last update, and lord knows it has come a long way from the hole in our backyard. I finally found the perfect nightstands, and I hung those dip-dyed indigo curtains that I made, during my indigo dye-fest a while back. Hope you enjoy the space!
I couldn’t be happier with how the curtains turned out, they really warm up the space and add a bit of color without being too overwhelming. Oh and P.S. I used Ikea curtains!
The nightstands are from West Elm and happened to have the exact measurements that I was looking for. I also love the delicate look of the gold and glass which off sets the darker wood of the sconces and the dresser. I know they aren’t exactly kid friendly but in the master bedroom I think that is allowed, for now at least. 🙂
Cracker always finds a way to sneak into any photo shoot but what home is complete without a pet or two photo bombing anyway? Below are all the sources! xo
I love your style. I’ve been looking at your site extra lately as we’re working on our house. Quick question: what kind of shades do you use? Roller? Sorry if I missed you mentioning that.
What a serene space you have created: tie dyed curtains evoke images of a gorgeous blue sky on a white billowing cloud filled day. Green bed frame brings to mind Mother Earth in Springtime – renewal, rebirth, life! Crystal catches sunlight & pretty glass with gold (can’t be all about the baby) Such thoughtful decisions!
Looks spectacular. Your rugs kill me! I’ve done quite a bit of browsing on ebay and esalerugs, but I rarely find colors that are as bright and beautiful as the ones on your rugs!
you totally inspired me- i just bought white ikea curtains for my living room and i wanted to do something to them. the dip dyed look is exactly what it needs!!!!
Beautiful! What type of IKEA curtains are those specifically? All of the IKEA curtains I find are more of an off white color, not as beautiful as these.

So light, bright and airy. Love all of the little vignettes throughout!
Lovely. Bright, with just the right amount of shine and color. Where oh where did you find the whimsical white face planter on the nightstand?
Can I ask what is the name of the rug you bought from Esale Rugs. I am assuming the rug is 5×7 or 6×9. Gorgeous! Love, love, love your style !!!
Where you able to find the name? I have also been looking for this rug.
