master bedroom // smitten studioSince my last bedroom post, we hung a Debbie Carlos print and installed some new Cedar & Moss sconces. Although the new bedroom has been coming along slowly (building it from the ground up didn’t speed up the process. :), it has been so great filling it only with items I love (a practice in editing, for sure) and knowing the designers and artist behind pieces like the print and lights makes each one even more special.

Well, finding a good one that has a very specific measurement… even harder. Turns out 24″ – 26″ wide nightstands aren’t the norm so I started looking for alternatives. I may eventually end up making my own but as soon as I saw this vintage chair and the measurements were dead on, I had to have it. I have always loved the casual look of a side chair as a nightstand (a couple great examples here and here). Now I just need to find it a mate for Rupe’s side.
