Last week I had the honor of shooting with the talented Tessa Neustadt
for a style feature on Mother Mag
. Getting these photos back, it was so nice to see our house from a different perspective… through someone else’s lens!
These were just a few of my favorite shots but head over to Mother
to see the full feature and interview that went live today. psst… there is a sneak peek into the nursery too!

Where did those lovely end tables in the bedroom come from?
They are from west elm!
Beautiful pics! I was hoping you could share what type of window treatments you used in your master bedroom. I’m looking for something that kind of disappears during the day but is also blackout.
We got our blinds from 3dayblinds.com. They come in and measure your windows and make them custom for your space.
I adore your style! What kind of plant is that, in your entry way? Is it easy to take care of?
Hi Jessica, it is called a rubber plant! (it is a real plant despite the confusing name) and yes it is super easy to take care of. It is my most flourishing plant. My mom has a huge one in her house that she has had for over 30 years!
What a great feature! I have been fantasizing (from RI) about living in Venice Beach, I didn’t know that’s where you were, that’s so cool! It was great to learn more about you, and the nursery dresser turned out gorgeous!
Good luck with everything, you are almost there!
I love this AND Mother Mag! So excited to see your gorgeous home in a different way as well.
I see you settled on nightstands! Can you share your thought process and the source? They look like a great solution for the void between two chairs in my living room!
I read both your blog and Mother, it was so exciting to see your interview there…
Where did you get your black couch? Love it,
where is that stunning red rug from?
