I’m using the term “artful modern” again to describe today’s high/low look but this time it’s in the living room. It is a simple term but it sums up how I strive to make each piece special by looking for unique silhouettes and shapes in furniture so that the pieces of the room become like sculptures themselves. This dreamy living room board is full of those and along with a bit of whimsy, it is seriously high on style.
I have been gaga for that egg collective sofa from the first time I saw it and I’m pretty sure I’ve pinned it multiple times. The clean lines and the geometric shapes hit all the right notes. This room is basically the collection of some of my all time favorite pieces, like that and the pink chair, which I will probably never afford, but love from afar nonetheless.

I love that brass and marble coffee table from West Elm. It was almost bought for my living room but I found a different one at CB2 that I liked just a tad more.
