We are starting to settle into our new life as a family of three and have begun to look for creative ways to be able to socialize and see our friends more often again. One easy solution is to make them come to my house and with summer around the corner a backyard cocktail hour should be enticing enough to wrangle a few besties over while the bebe sleeps.

Target Style invited me to share how I would fancy up my backyard in just 5 minutes to make it guest ready and here’s a look at what I did.

The winning recipe is twinkle lights, a few cozy pillows and blankets, and a pitcher of moscow mules, of course. I also added in some hanging planters that I used as candle holders to dangle from the tree. I’d say that’s 5 minutes well spent… and makes looking like the hostess with the mostess a breeze.
