Two weeks ago today I launched my line of American made goodies, A Sunny Afternoon. To celebrate its debut, I grabbed a bunch of friends and hit the park for a picnic fit for the occasion.

It was my first chance to be able to use all of my products for a party and I’d say it was a huge success. I gathered my napkins and boards, packed up a couple baskets full of yummy treats, and rolled out a few blankets for a super simple evening picnic.

Sharing a summer evening with a few good friends outdoors is an A Sunny Afternoon commandment (or at least it should be 🙂 ).

Even though most of us have used this park a ton, it was the first time we all gathered there and I think many more picnics in the park are in our future.

I have been overwhelmed (in a good way) by the positive response and hope that at next season’s launch party you can all be there.

A special thank you to those of you that have bought a piece of this first collection. A few of the items have sold out already and quantities are dwindling. Some pieces will carry through to the next collection and some, once they’ve sold out, will be gone.
