Eeek! What a fun giveaway. I am in LOVE with the geos towel. I’d pack it while on a picnic in City Park in New Orleans – a super short walk from my house 🙂

  • Love your picnic supplies as facny picnicing is right up my alley! I would choose the Geos tea towel, love that one. My favorite picnic spot is out at my parents farm near the pond or somewhere along the river in a nice secluded spot.

  • I am in love with the green cross tea towel!! I love your whole cabin and your new line is amazing!!
My favorite picnic is across the street at the lake with all of my kids and my hubby!

  • Kristina

Geos, and there’s a vineyard out off 66 in Virginia that is perched at the top of a pretty huge hill, with spectacular views. Perfect picnic location.

  • The stripes tea towel is calling to me! My favorite picnic spot in Portland is at the Pittock Mansion…

  • Mary

I’m looking forward to collecting your line for my home over time. I think I’d start with the triangles tea towel for a picnic in Brooklyn’s prospect park during a summer concert.

  • Tyler Marie

I love your blog and the amazing new products you launched on A Sunny Afternoon. I am smitten with the Tea Towel TRIANGLES and think it’d be a perfect punch of black and white to the stunning basket. (I’d beach cruise from my apartment in Santa Monica via the Strand to arrive in Venice Beach)

  • Oooo!!!! What an awesome giveaway! I love your picnic basket!! It’s a total classic. Picking one of your designs is hard, love them all. But I think my favorite is the green cross. My favorite picnic spot is Osterman beach up on the north side of Chicago in the Edgewater neighborhood where I live. Nothing better than sitting out by Lake Michigan!! Congrats on the success of your new store!

  • Sam Solis

I love, love, love the cross mint tea towel. One of my favorite colors.

My girlfriends and I made a 2013 goal list to help us achieve some big to-dos but also to enjoy life’s sweet moments. One of mine is to take a picnic this summer and I haven’t had a chance to make it happen yet. I’m hoping your gorgeous basket is what makes it get crossed off the 2013 list.

Thanks for all the beauty you bring to the world. X.

P.S. Following A Sunny Afternoon on FB. 🙂

  • Sam Solis

P.S.S. My favorite picnic spot is the Arb in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

  • Ariba

I would have to say the Geos tea towel would be my pick. It’s got the perfect pops of color to complement the earthy basket. And it’s just super cute!

  • Janet

Love your blog and love the serving boards I’ve already ordered!! The mint cross tea towel and picnic basket are next on my wish list for a perfectly perfect sunny picnic date just about anywhere. Thanks!

  • Mary

I would choose the geometric tea towel and head out to my grandparents’ olive orchard on a hot summer day and find a nice shady and secluded spot

  • I’m in love with the aqua and plus sign one! It is my logo after all 😉 and to have a picnic is on my summer to do list so I need to get on that!

  • Alex

Although they are all so cute, the stripes would be perfect with this basket. I can’t just choose one picnic spot as my favorite…so I’ll share both;) One of my favorites is Salt Creek Beach in Dana Point,Califiornia. There is this huge grassy hill overlooking the ocean. Surfers, families, runners, dogs, and cute littles are all over but somehow it’s so peaceful, especially at sunset. My other favorite spot is in Des Moines, Washington right at the waterfront. You are surronded by water, sand, grass, forest, and wildflowers all at the same time. It’s magical, romantic, and absolutely gorgeous.

  • Dani Sigel

I adore the mint cross tea towel. I’m currently having quite the love affair with all-things mint green! As far as picnic’ing, Singing Beach in Manchester-by-the-Sea on the North Shore of Massachusetts is a glorious spot. The beach is actually named for the sound the sand makes when squished between your toes. Cheers!

  • Kim

Love the mint cross tea towel. Can’t wait to picnic with my little family!

  • congratulations on the launch! i absolutely adore the green cross tea towel. it is so bright & cheery. i’d bring my basket to an outdoor NYC movie night on the pier, near the hudson river or in bryant park.

  • The geos will match my dallas/southwestern setting perfectly! the basket is really stinkin cute – great giveaway!

  • Veronica

I hope I win this! I own the arrow cutting board and I LOVE it! simple and beautiful, adds so much character to my kitchen. I like the black and white geometric tea towel. My favorite place for a picnic is in Monterey by the beach. Brings me back to my first dates with my husband, and now I need to go back with our first child.

  • Jordann Tatum

My favorite tea-towel is the Green Cross one.

My favorite place to picnic is at One Mile in Bidewell Park in Chico, CA, by the swimming area. There is a lot of shade and comfy grass and benches, and it’s easy to hop right in the water because the river has been given a concrete pool-addition. There are a lot of casual trails around this stretch of park, secluded parts of the river, and blackberries that you can pick.

  • My favorite tea towel is definitely the mint cross pattern. It’s lovely. And my favorite spot to picnic is in the Law Quad at UM (in Ann Arbor).

  • Ah! I’m obsessed with your stuff and am desperate to own it! Unfortunately I’m from Canada so your site continues to be a big ole tease :(. Just out of curiosity, if I offered to pay for shipping would you consider allowing a Canadian to contribute to the contest! Ha! #desperate!

Just in case I would totally choose the lines tea towel! And my absolute favourite place to picnic would be at Third Beach in Vancouver overlooking the ocean. Pure bliss!

    • Hi Allessia,
haha sure! if your name gets picked I’ll send you a paypal invoice for the extra shipping. Also, A Sunny Afternoon ships to Canada now! It is just a bit more expensive. Thanks for entering. 🙂

  • I love the striped towels! The mixture of handpainted lines and such a geometric print is fantastic. And I’d take them up to Will Rogers State Park for a picnic and a polo match!

  • Are you kidding me?! They’re all beautiful! How does one pick a favorite? The Geos one is probably my favorite. I’ve been hunting for a picnic basket all summer…this one is fantastic!

A favorite picnic spot? The back of my husband’s old pick up truck. 🙂

  • Jill

Ooh the Geos tea towel is right up my alley! I’d take them to the beach in Amagansett with my little boy and husband!

  • Kirsten

I’d for sure pair the stripes tea towel with this, and I’d take it picnicking along the lakeshore on the Leelanau peninsula, while I’m in my home state of Michigan, or I would take it to Kua Bay, a sandy little beach 15 minutes from my house in Hawaii.

  • The geos tea towel is my absolute favorite!!! I would take the picnic basket and tea towel to my favorite hiking spot in San Bernadino!

  • ashley

oh i’m pretty sure i’m in love with those geometric towels- but all of it is totally swoon worthy.

+ right now, our favorite picnic spot is in our new back yard, with our 18 month old + 2 boxers (one of which we’re about to lose to kidney failure.) we’re soaking up all of our moments with her while we can 🙂

  • Erin

I love the Geos tea towel, I would use it at my favorite picnic spot, right on the beach in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL with friends.

  • Choosing a favorite tea towel has been the hardest decision I’ve made today BUT I finally decided the Geos towel would add a great pop of color since we like to have picnics on the roof!

This is the first time I’ve visited your site and I’m a huge fan of your products – beautiful design and imagery too. [PS: I don’t have a personal Facebook so I liked your page from my brand page, Stately Sandwiches]

  • The mint green tea towel would coordinate with my bright color picnic blanket! All I need is a basket to perfect the scene at Sheep’s Meadow in Central Park!

  • Michelle B

  • Angel

My favorite tea towel is Geos and my favorite picnic spot is at the top of Dolores Park in San Francisco.

  • Chrissy Larson

I would definitely pair up my picnic basket with the stripes tea towel. The pattern is too cute and my favorite location to picnic is in the sunny elm creek park in maple grove MN. Surrounded by greenery, it’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy each others company!

  • So hard to pick, but I love the green crosses!

  • i love all the tea towels but if i HAVE to choose only one, it’d the the green crosses!

  • Ooooh, the green cross tea towel is just divine – that colour is my absolute fave! I’ve recently moved to San Francisco so I don’t have a picnicking place just yet… but if I won the picnic basket I would sure put it to good use finding a favourite spot! 😉

  • Oh my, I dream in picnics. What a great giveaway! That basket will take my picnicking to a professional level, I need it. 🙂 My fav tea towel is your green cross one. Too cute. My fav picnic spot is through the last cave at El Matador Beach in Malibu. It’s wonderful.

  • Mary Ann

Oh, how honored I would be to win this picnic basket. I believe that the green cross tea towel is my favorite one to match up with the picnic basket because it reminds me of my State of Vermont–The Green Mountain State. I would pack up the basket with Vermont cheeses and crackers and fruit and head to the mountains and meadows and delight in Summertime. Loving the basket and picnics and tea towels!

  • What an amazing giveaway! I love the entire line (and you too) so all the tea towels are fantastic, but I’m especially fond of the GEOS.

  • My absolute favorite Tea Towel by A Sunny Afternoon is the MINT CROSS. I love it to match how I see the sky and the water in my chosen picnic spot at the Mountain View campsite in Acadia National Park, Maine. Those color patterns warm my heart and brighten my spirit! [Thank you to A Sunny Afternoon for making such gorgeous items with love!]
    http://www.asunnyafternoon.com/product/tea-towel-mint-cross

  • Congrats on your launch, Sarah! Its a tie between the Green Crosses and the Geos tea towel. I know exactly where I would take the picnic basket, to Alamo Square Park near my house in San Francisco – also the home of the Painted Ladies, aka the Full House houses.

  • I adore the GEO Tea Towels! My favorite place to picnic is a local, slow going park named Abercrombie Park in St. Petersburg, Fl. I also love the beach for picnics but that doesn’t work out too well anymore with children who attract sand and seagulls.

  • Jessica W

That is an adorable picnic basket, i’d love to have it! I think my favorite tea towel pattern is the mint cross, with the geos pattern coming in at a close second. But then any pattern would pair well with that simple and classy basket.

  • love the crosses green towels!!! and enjoy picnics in my backyard with my mini me 🙂

  • Love the GEOS towel! It’d be perfect for a picnic!

  • I would pair it with the Mint Cross tea towel! as well as my small arrow serving board that came in the mail a couple weeks ago. I love it!

My favorite place to picnic is in my backyard! It’s green, relaxing, and close enough to my fridge for a quick beverage refill!

  • Katelyn

Even though I would love to buy up your whole shop, the Green Cross Tea Towel is a definite favorite!

My favorite picnic spot is currently on my rooftop. Finding green space in New York City can be challenging, so I like to head up to the roof and drown myself in the overwhelming feeling of being so small. Staring out at the expansive skyline helps to put things in perspective. As for picnic food — black and white cookies are all you need!

  • Margot C

I simply adore the tea towel called “stripes”.
Naturally I like you on fb.

My favorite place to picnic is a place that I can not go now and may never go again; the levee by the Mississippi River near Uptown in New Orleans (my long lost home!)

  • Lauren

geez, can I choose them all!?! If I had to choose I would pair the mint green cross tea towels with the picnic basket because I think the mix of colors and patterns would be a funky and sweet juxtaposition. I live in Oklahoma and thursday nights during the summer they play movies in an park downtown. The basket and tea towels would be the perfect accessory for homemade italian sandwiches and fizzy drinks on the lawn!

  • I love the “geos” tea towel (though- it was a hard choice!) i love color and pattern- It matches my Fiesta collection! We mainly picnic at St Augustine Beach, our favorite is Anastasia State Park where we like to camp and ride our bikes to the beach both day and night. • I love the geometric tea towel, and my favorite picnic spot is a little beached tucked away between Santa Barbara and San Francisco called Jalama Beach!

  • I have had my eye on the green cross tea towel since you opened A Sunny Afternoon! And honestly, it’s hard to find a good, quality picnic basket (I have been looking!), so I would be thrilled to win yours.
I think my perfect picnic spot would be somewhere in the middle of the field on my sister’s farm in Mitchell, Indiana. It’s the most peaceful place I’ve been too. Plus it would be great to catch up with my sister, since we don’t see each other as often as we’d like.
    Thanks for doing this giveaway!

  • Rachel

I love the mint cross tea towel. That mint is one of my favorite colors! My favorite picnics are always on the Fourth of July, right before the sun goes down and the fireworks start. xx! Congrats on such a successful launch. Totally hooked.

  • Nikki

Well I can say this, what fabulous tea towels!! It wasn’t too hard to pick out my favorite though, Green Cross!! It reminds me of two of my favorite picnic spots and two of my favorite people. I recently lost both of my grandparents, within 4 months of each other. Growing up my sister and I used to spend long summer visits with them, and picnics were always at the top of the list. My favorite picnic spots with my grandparents and even to this day are beach at Crissy Fields in San Francisco, La Familia picnic grounds in Oakville (Napa) and the park near my grandparents old home, The Elk Grove Park. Every year in July my family and I would venture up to the small suburb outside of Sacramento for the Strauss festival at The Elk Grove Park. It was an evening of amazing music and dance, with of course the most wonderful picnic. Each year our menu became fancier and fancier. This basket would have been perfect, and the green cross tea towel would have been a staple in my Grandmother’s linen drawer…lots of green for her Irish heritage and always a cross for her Catholic upbringing. Whomever wins this little contest is sure to be smitten over his/her basket!!

  • I like the green cross tea towels

p.s. im loving all the products in the shop, keep up the good work!

    xo, Maja

  • Congratulations on A Sunny Afternoon, I love the concept and the entire thought process that has gone into your branding. I am from Montana and one thing I love about my parents house is their copper weather vane, so when I saw that as your logo I instantly fell in love.

My favorite napkins are your stripped ones, the colors flow is beautiful, the pale pink looks great next to the black. If I had to choose my favorite picnic spot it would either be at my parents farm along the yellowstone river, with a big white blanket. Or at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco… where the houses near by are filled will unique doors and the Palace structure is their view. The baskets unique details fits in every picnic spot.

  • Love the little crosses on mint! http://www.asunnyafternoon.com/product/tea-towel-mint-cross The best picnics are spontaneous ones, spent in nature, surrounded by friends and loved ones.

  • LOVE Crosses and Geos!! I design products myself and plus signs and geometric patterns are some of my favorite things right “now”. Picnics are so fun when hiking the mountains in New Hampshire in the summertime! 🙂

  • Kim

  • I love the mint crosses towel! My favorite picnic spot will always involve a beach.

  • Maggie

That picnic basket is gorgeous. The vinyl lining is genius. I’d pair it with the Green Cross tea towel. (Gotta love a pop of green.)
