Are you shopping small this Saturday?
If you’re local to Grand Rapids, Michigan, we’ve got you covered with some of our favorite spots around town.
We know it’s not realistic for most people to shop small exclusively. BUT even choosing one gift locally makes a meaningful difference. Supporting local artists and makers means investing in your community, your neighbors, and your local economy. A little truly goes a long way.
01. mokaya chocolate shop: our beloved local chocolate shop with a variety of handmade treats for everyone on your list. May we suggest the milk chocolate orange ginger bar, the perfect stocking treat.
02. good good good natural wine and flowers: pick up a bottle of natural wine (we love shed wine, made by local friends) or a beautiful bouquet of flowers! And make sure you stay for a glass yourself, their space is so cozy.
03. pink lemonade: a cute boutique full of curated gifts for kids, home, and her. They always have unique toys, clothes, and little treasures.
04. bead shop: my current obsession are these handmade necklaces crafted with vintage glass beads. Truly so fun and one of a kind!
05. stoffer home: we pick their exclusive stoffer home ceramics as the gift for so many on your list.
06. shop nueve: a destination for vintage furniture and small treasures.
07. hyssop shop + florals: stunning florals paired with a thoughtfully curated shop. Special finds in their shop or gift one of their floral classes.
08. schuler books: my go to bookstore. Shop all of our favorite reads locally.
09. cafe mamo: the whole sss office is obsessed. Grab a gift card and pair it with a bottle of wine or merch like this pink tee that says it all: “care a lot & be honest.”
10. kesteren and kendall: formally oma stars vintage. So many vintage goodies here at a wide range of price points.
11. field and fire bakery: I will never get over their cranberry loaf and the tordu baguette. Both perfect for any holiday gathering. Add a gift card to their bakery or (our studio favorite lunch spot) their cafe.
