Not long ago I found myself in Palm Springs for a pool party and realized I somehow forgot to pack a kaftan/tunic/beach cover-up. I mean CRISIS! 😉 Minutes before the party we were downtown and I saw the perfect one hanging in a storefront window, so I rushed in and bought the lacey tunic before I even knew where I was and before my stylish friends could find out the truth about my lapse in packing skills. Lo and behold, this is my true story about when Chico’s saved the day!

Word of my brush with ‘pool party dress code failure’ spanned across the land and Chico’s wanted me to share the harrowing tale with you (OK, the spreading of the word part didn’t really happen, but when they asked me to work with them, I jumped at the chance to share my story and my new secret (now, not-so-secret) source for beach/pool wear).
