Recently, I had the pleasure of working with photographer
Lou Mora for a little “day in the life” series. He literally followed me around with a camera for a day, while I worked in my studio, took a coffee break, walked the dogs, and
stuck my head in some bougainvillea (as I do, habitually of course). Lou has such a talent for capturing people authentically. He brings the genuine personality out of someone and somehow gets it just right in an image. Even if it means baring my snaggle tooth (like below), he does it beautifully.

My favorite part of the day is often taking a pause from my studio and getting the dogs out for a walk, and now with
the bun in the oven, I find it even more important to find time like this to slow down and enjoy a break or two. Also, with this new baby bump starting to grow, I have been LIVING in loose dresses like this one. I am pretty sure you can’t get anything more comfortable than a lightweight silk shift and comfort is the name of the game these days.

I live in my chambray button-up – Wish I had a cute bomber like that to switch it up! It looks so comfy. Congratulations on your upcoming addition!!
you’re too cute, my husband has a snaggle tooth too lol! his parents were going to pay for him to get braces when he was younger, but he refused saying it was his trademark. you look great! and definitely embrace these moments pre baby!
@brittany Haha thats so funny about yor husband. I would have totally wanted braces. I am the youngest of three girls and both of my sisters had braces but when it came time for me they didn’t have enough money to do it for all three of us! Snaggle tooth for life! Lol
