I hope you all had a really great extra long Thanksgiving weekend. We spent turkey day with just a few friends this year, Amanda of 100 layer cake obviously knows how to put together a table (and cook a turkey for that matter. :)). It was a day filled with thanks, football, yummy eats, and lingering at the table for hours with good conversation. Everything Thanksgiving should be cracked up to be. Oh how I love the holidays and am not afraid to be a total nerd about it.
The rest of the weekend Rupe and I laid pretty low enjoying the quiet time with just the two of us before baby’s February arrival. We dug a few christmas decorations out, did a little shopping small on saturday, brunched, got a mani & pedi, and then traded in my Mini Cooper for a more mommy sized car (I may have cried when I had to turn in the keys. Stupid but true… I realllly liked that car. ha).
