2015 has officially started off with a BIG bang in all the best ways. Over the weekend I worked with photographers Katherine and Luke of Max and Friends to document this mama to be time in my life and they couldn’t have been sweeter or more talented to work with. I’ve only gotten a little sneak peek from the shoot but am SO looking forward to seeing the rest.

I went straight from the shoot to the airport to pick up one of two old friends who both flew in to celebrate our little one on the way at a shower that was thrown for me and baby Samuel on Sunday. It was such a special gathering of incredible (and crazily talented) women that I feel so fortunate to call my friends, I mean check out that dessert table!! (CAN NOT wait to see and share the photos from that too!)

We also stretched the weekend into Monday (because who wants to go back to work after a long break on a Monday anyway) and the Bachelor Premier should of course be considered a holiday, am I right? Kidding of course, kind of, but mostly because we also started a full gut job renovation on the original bathroom, the only room that hadn’t been touched yet. I am cutting it a little close to the ole due date but man when that nesting bug hits in the third trimester, it is NO joke. 🙂

And finally, last but not least, there has been one more major change in the Samuel household… Rupert made a big career change, leaving his company that he founded in 2007, and later sold, to take a position at CP + B, where his ad career began in the very first place, way back when (you can read a bit about him here and another blurb in the NY Times. #proudwife ;)). After having the month of December off from any work,  his first day was today! I will surely cherish all the extra time we had with just the two of us around the house and now look forward to the big adventure of parenthood!
