Next, I want to round out the area with some sort of occasional table to sit next to the chair. A place for books, mail, etc., and also a place to prop up my feet when perched in the chair. I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite options below.
I have my heart set on one of these guys but I do fancy each of them. Which would you choose? Free Range Coffee Table by Blu Dot // Shroom Table by CB2 // Semisfera by Anthropologie // Rustic Storage Table by West Elm // Trienna Table by Artek // Round Glass Top Table by Urban OutfittersOther Sources: Hanging Chair (yard sale!) find more options here, and here, and here and here // Mill Console Table by CB2 // Door by AAW (stained with 1 part Light Walnut & 2 parts Provencal by Varathane) // Rubber plant & planter from Home Depot

As a mama of two little boys, I would advise against the glass-top with the little one on the way. The minute baby starts pulling up, it’ll never look clean again (not to mention, an attempt to climb the table is inevitable). Love the semisfera!
Love it! And for that space, I think shroom all the way.
I second both votes above. I see it also being a fun area for your little, you could add floor cushions or a mini bertoia. Or decorate it with plants and your usual gorgeousness!
I can’t believe you got that hanging chair at a yard sale! amazing find! great round up of tables, they’re all perfect for your space. I think I like the shroom and the semisfera the best.
I say the triennia
Wow, I love that hanging chair, and I love the idea of pair such a light airy chair with a grounded table like the shroom.
I have the rustic storage and LOVE IT! Really versatile styling-wise.
i’d pick one with rounded edges and no sharp corners for little people to hit their faces on. oh and one that can take a beating, unless you just want to get another in a couple years. I like the semisfera or shroom. 😉
Trienna or shroom!
I love the Semsifera, but woah on the sticker shock! You could probably find something similar but more reasonable even if you had it custom made by a local carpenter.
The rustic storage option is my favorite… I’m a sucker for that wood wash!
I love the Shroom or the free range. I think the rustic would take away from the door, which I love how the stain pops against the white. I guess it kind of depends on what kind of chair you are looking to pair with it.
Love the semisfera but since there are already a few different wood tones/shades I think the Free Range or Shroom would be awesome! The round glass top would also work well but not good for little ones! 🙂
