Remember the Flying Flamingo from my color palette inspiration? Well I got the print!! and I went big… 30″ x 40″ big, to be exact. I took it straight to Michaels where they do custom archival framing. I was a little scared to pass off my new treasured Sharon Montrose print to someone else, but at my framing appointment they treated it like gold with white gloves and all. I can’t wait to see the finished piece.
So, for now I will have to continue to ogle at all of the prints online until I get mine back home.
Let me just say, I have wanted a Sharon Montrose print for reaally long time. Seriously, the hardest part was trying to decide which one. Here are a few of my personal favorites. The clean backgrounds really let the animals shine and I can’t help but anthropomorphize each one, thinking that the llama smirking at me must be the class clown or the stoic cougar is hiding something behind those beautiful eyes. I could stare at these all day.If you aren’t familiar with Sharon’s work I highly suggest popping over to the Animal Print Shop. Just don’t blame me if you lose hours poring over each photo. 😉

Sarah I love the one you chose! I have also wanted to get my hands on a large Sharon Montrose print. I have a small print of hers – the monkey.- and that one makes me smile every time I pass it in my hallway. Hope the renovation is going well!
omgggg. I have seen these before, but thank you for reminding me! they are the BEST prints ever – love her work! I just moved into a condo, so I will for sure be getting some of these.

It’s going to be so cute! love!
Love Sarah Montrose’s work and the larger the print the better. The flamingo will look stellar in your new pad. Speaking of photographer’s, are you familiar with Leila Jeffrey’s fine art photographs? We love all of her shots but are partial to “Jimmy”, if we had to choose. More on her here http://leilajeffreys.com
Viva la animals!
