With just a few weeks to go until our due date, lately I’ve been spending most of my days close to home while we prepare for baby’s arrival. A good pair of maternity jeans and a T-shirt or my trusty black dress (which I also got in blue) have literally been all I’ve been wearing. Both work great for everyday comfort and if the occasion does arise for me to adventure out, I just throw on a jacket and a bangle or two and head out the door.
While I have ended my maternity clothes shopping a month or so ago, if I was to leave you with one piece of advice, for those of you that are just starting to grow a bump, is to invest in a quality pair of maternity jeans. At the beginning I bought a couple of cheap pairs and I was only able to wear them a few times before they became SO uncomfortable. About mid-way through I got this pair and only wished I had had them from the beginning! These ones go over the belly and the waist band is SO stretchy that in my 9th month they still feel like I am wearing comfy leggings but have the look of normal designer jeans. THE BEST! SO although they are expensive, if you can swing it, I’d say its well worth the extra comfort and you will most likely LIVE in them.

I want to be as gorgeous and stylish as you when I’m pregnant!
Where is your trusty black dress from?! I didn’t see the deets in your link.
Yes! Please post details on the dress! I went to the link but there was nothing about the dress! 🙂
Hi Guys! So sorry, I thought I had put a link on that post. WHOOPS. Here is the link to the Black dress (wearing it as I type) and the Blue dress.
Yes. This is so true. I bought a $200 pair and wore them pretty much everyday for 2 pregnancies. So worth it.
I may not have a green thumb, but I know what I like and that is a beautiful plant! Wondering if you could share what type it is?
Hi Maddie,
Yes it is called a rubber plant. (it is real that is just the name. ha) they are very low maintenance and so far so easy to keep alive!
I absolutely love your style, Sarah! May I ask what the brand and color of your lipstick are? Thank you! 🙂
