Here is another look at the raw sagging plywood that was the ceiling when we first bought the place. It is also the first thing that we tackled when we arrived this trip. I picked out some 1x4s from good ole menards that we cut to size and then we trimmed out, caulked, and painted the ceiling.
Oh, and we also happily said goodbye to that not so attractive track lighting.
I know this is an older post, but I’m curious … did you just trim out the existing plywood ceiling, or did you remove the plywood and replace everything?

Just stumbled upon your phenomenal cabin renovation. Love it! Was curious, how did you trim out the crown moulding? 1×4 on ceiling with 1×2 on wall?
