Remember our a-frame in Palm Springs? I miss it! And would love to make this a-frame on lake arrowhead our next hideaway. This one would not require nearly as many renovations as our Palm Springs oasis but there’s a few things I would change.

The first thing I would do here is get rid of the green fireplace. I’d give it a few coats of a concrete overlay to lighten it up and bring some texture into the room. Then I would bring the green from outside in with our loden velvet Rupert sofa, khaki irregular grid rug, and olive checker pillows.

I’d love to get my hands on that ceiling fan and replace it with this showstopper dream pendant. Here in the sss office we have been dying to get artwork by David Esquivel (keep a look out next month for our interview with him!) into a home. I love the pop of color it brings into this room!
