We may or may not have chosen this one based on the cover alone, haha. SSS read Tartufo next to a pool filled with loud kids, and while she doesn’t recommend that setting for your read, she does urge you to go into this one blind and just trust it’s as special as its cover!
So I am following just that and going into this one based on the dreamy cover and the tiny bit I looked up: set in a little Italian town, the writing is lyrical, and the story focuses on the connection of the village, the community, and nature. Sounds charming!! And you don’t have to ask me twice when an imaginary escape to Italy is offered.
