For the holiday weekend Rupert and I took an impromptu trip to Palm Springs. We have both been working a lot of long days lately so a little getaway was just what we needed. We packed up our car, hit the road and landed at the Parker for a weekend full of sun, loads of pool time, yummy meals, and a lot of sleep. We had to postpone our 4th of July beach day picnic celebration until Sunday, but I’d say it was worth the wait. We filled up our basket, headed to a friends house in Manhattan Beach and took to the sand.
It is amazing what a few days off can do for you. I’m feeling refreshed, inspired, and excited to get back to work today. I hope you all had a wonderful and relaxing long weekend as well!
Hey Kristen,
ooh I think I have to go with the Parker for the grounds alone. Walking around the garden at night is magical. I do like the pool situation a bit better at the Viceroy but the Parker wins on the food options as well.
sounds like you had a great time!

LOVE weekends away in Palm Springs. Which do you prefer- The Parker or Viceroy?
