Melody made the strawberry shortcake for dessert after we all dined on delicious grilled chicken and carnitas tacos homemade by fellow friend Bea Schlatter.
My backyard was transformed when I brought out the dining table from our previous house (currently stored in the garage) and rented those gorgeous bentwood chairs from Yeah Rentals. I found those white vintage fiberglass chairs that sit at each end of the table at the Long Beach Flea Market which make great captain’s chairs.
I made a few changes in the lounge area, just for the party, by switching out my cushions for some rentals and adding the pattern backdrop. I also swapped out the fireplace for a wicker peacock chair to give Lauren a proper throne that the expectant momma clearly deserves. 🙂 It was our first time getting to entertain in the new patio space and I couldn’t love it any more. I hope you enjoyed seeing this fun fête, and my backyard, in a whole new light. If I’m ever blessed to have children, this is exactly the kind of shower I would want… pretty, personable, and intimate. Great job!
Stunning. I LOVE the wall of green vine you have. Do you know what kind of vine that is and is it covering a concrete wall? I have a concrete wall I am looking to cover with some kind of vine. The top looks like bougenvilla…
This is just gorgeous !! So in love with all the colours and styling and I love that hedge/vine so pretty with the flowers ! 🙂
Your color pattern is on point and beautiful. Your type of seating and seating arrangement is also stunning. Love the ends of those chairs. Great job!
Looks great! How did you do the backdrop? Looks neat!
Gorgeous setting!!! The shades of blue are so pretty! Beautifully done 🙂 *Love the math problem by the way to comment so you know I’m a person and not a computer!!! I’m laughing how clever!!!!
