Amidst our crazy schedules (and to keep sane during our renovation), we have been doing our best to take mini-trips and enjoy places right around we live. We had so much fun on Catalina Island last weekend, and it felt like we were in some far flung destination when it is right in our backyard! It reminded us a bit of Mackinac Island, in Michigan where Rupe and I got married, with the ferry ride, its’ darling little downtown area, candy shops, and bicycle rentals.
