Traditionally these textiles were woven by a Berber bride’s female relatives to be used and worn in a wedding ceremony and they are now often used as blankets, wall hangings, rugs, throws, and some people have made smaller pieces into pillows like above. There is no denying their influence on that sassy little mini skirt either. Happy Handira shopping.

What a great light pattern yet seems so perfect for winter!
I’ve seen Moroccan wedding blankets used in so many different ways, but the skirt is a new one for me! Can’t wait to get my hands on a blanket (eventually)!
