I packed my bag and headed up to Ojai yesterday for a little getaway with a great group of creative ladies. Hosted by the Bash Please girls along with Catherine and Jaimi, they have put together a little “girl scout camp” themed retreat. Here’s a peek and what came with me.

Is there a reason you guys are using the Girl Scout name for this getaway weekend? I’m only asking because, as a former (actual) Girl Scout and troop leader, I have seen how strict the organization is about their message and how their name is used.
(just to clarify – my comment above sounded more flippant than I intended – I was wondering if this was a collaboration with Girl Scouts or just a sort of play on the name.)

Sorry for the confusion. But yes “girl scout camp” is just the theme of the camp getaway and is not affiliated with the Girl Scout organization. Although, there are a few former Girl Scouts here… including me.

I loved the photos from that retreat so much! I’ve been daydreaming about having one of these retreats will local bloggers in Washington…I’m even writing a post about the possibility!
