When you go through anything that disrupts your usual schedule I think it makes you look at things a little differently. This time around it has me more thankful for things I’ve never given much thought to and has reminded me of what’s important.
It also made me realize that when I’m stressed I do very stupid things like when I stubbed my toe I thought it was a good idea to kick a chair in anger and ended up cutting my ankle as well, or like when I was leaving my house, I jumped in the car, turned it on, and slowly back into the still closed garage door. I think I have cursed more these past couple weeks then in my entire life combined. Please tell me that happens to someone else as well. I mean, not the cursing part but the absent minded happenings that come along when your head is so full you think it might pop.

Haha, I’ve totally done stuff like that (the toe-stubbing story!) – and, yeah – it’s the same when you have kids/run a business/try to do it all – so hard to keep your head on straight! You’re not alone! 🙂
Ohhhh my…I can relate. We just got a puppy and our schedules have been completely turned upside down. I remember the first time my boyfriend and I got to leave the house on our own and have a meal together, it felt like it was the first meal I had ever eaten out. You really do appreciate those little things once something big like that happens. And you also do crazy/absent-minded things! I’m sure everything will slowly become normal again for us all 🙂
ha! that is good to hear Sally. That’s exactly how I image it if I have kids. Hopefully I get my head screwed on straight again before that happens! 🙂
Hi Archana, haha that is hilarious! We adopted both of our dogs when they were about a year old so we missed the real early puppy stages. From the sounds of it that was a good thing! Although… I do wish that I got to see our little pups when they were teeny tiny handfuls of cute. Good luck with the new addition.
