We spent the last weekend of the year wandering through Chicago, taking long walks until our toes went numb, visiting a few old favorite restaurants and trying out a some new ones. Every time I go to Chicago I fall in love all over again with the old brownstone houses and the architecture in the city. It was nice to stay in a different area then I have before and take the few calm days together between Christmas and New Years to relax and do some of the things that I love most… eat, shop, and explore. 🙂
