It may have taken me 5 weeks but I did it… this weekend I finally got out of the house, and twice!

On Friday my doula dropped by to watch Archer for a bit so Rupert and I could have our first day date since baby and a little time with just the two of us. We had a long lunch at our favorite local spot and hit up a couple shops before running back to feed the little guy.  The next day we ventured out again and this time with baby in tow, to another fave spot by the same folks.

Overall, it was a huge success and much needed outings for me. Every little milestone like these are helping to build my mama confidence. The rest of the weekend we spent around the house, working on our our feeding, cuddling, walking around the hood, sleeping, and then feeding again cycle.
